Tour 5: Cherohala Skyway Drive w/ Waterfall

Tour 7: Smoky Mountain National Park hike
Number of people may be between 1 and 4 ($10 added per person)
Tour 1: Drive with many views of the area lakes, rivers, Smoky Mountain National Park, and dam (walking across the dam is optional), with several stops for photo opportunities. A lot of variety and good for any age or ability. Takes anywhere from 5 to 7 hours. A stop at the Fontana Resort's Wildwood Grill for lunch is optional, but cost of lunch there would not be included. This tour is great for all ages and abilities.
Tour 2: Drive around the perimeter of Santeetlah Lake, with stops that allow for amazing photo opportunities and then an hour or two hike through the Joyce Kilmer forest, with its massive, 400 year old trees. The hike is not difficult, but you must be able to walk on a trail for an hour or two. Total time is around 4 or 5 hours.
Tour 3: We'll kayak around lake Santeetlah, explore the shoreline, and visit an island campsite that can only be reached via boat. This tour is highly recommended for viewing fall colors. If you wish to see mist on the lake as well, we must start before sunrise (e-mail for early start time). Tour includes kayak rental price and lasts about 4 hours. If someone does not have the strength to kayak, they can ride in a two person kayak with someone who can paddle for both.
Tour 4: Similar to Tour 3, we will kayak down Calderwood lake, which has many bald eagles, and an old railroad tunnel that is mostly submerged. Fun for kids.
Tour 5: We'll drive several thousand feet up into the Unicoi mountain range, which is surrounded by wilderness areas as far as the eye can see. There are many stops for views and we'll stop at a giant waterfall after crossing over into Tennessee. We'll drive back the same way, so you'll have opportunity to get photos with different lighting or cloud conditions. Total time will be around 6 to 7 hours.
Tour 6: This is a 6 mile hike for those with standard ability, as the trail is rugged. We'll hike through the Slickrock wilderness to a beautiful location at Slickrock Creek where you can rest or explore nearby. The area is pristine, there are no crowds, and no cell reception. The guide will have a first aid kid and satellite phone for emergencies. This hike takes between 6 and 8 hours, depending on hiking speed.
Tour 7: This is an 8 mile loop hike in the Smoky Mountain National Park starting from the Twenty-Mile ranger station. Inclines are not steep, so it is not rated as a difficult hike. However, you should be able to handle walking for around 5 hours at a normal pace. With stops for photos, this tour will take 6 to 7 hours.
