This is a project that you will have the entire semester to complete. There are three main sections of this project that must be completed. Each section will build on the previous section. You will utilize the tools that you have learned to complete this project.
Section 1 - Research Paper
For the first section you will complete a research paper. It will be due on October 15th at the beginning of class. You can find a description of the research paper on my website or by clicking on the research paper link. Make sure that you read the portion on Extra Credit. To submit your research paper to me, you will need to utilize Turnitin.com, which you will learn about on October 1st. I can also usually tell the papers where students have utilized the free services of the Learning Assistance Center. The grades are usually at least 10 points above the other grades.
Section 2 - PowerPoint Presentation
For the second section you will complete a PowerPoint presentation. It will be due on November 17th at the beginning of class. You can find a description of the PowerPoint presentation on my website or by clicking on the presentation link. It will need to be on whatever you completed your research paper on.
Section 3 - Web Based Presentation using PhotoStory
This section will allow you to put your PowerPoint presentation on the Internet and integrate it with video. You will use PhotoStory to add narration to your PowerPoint and turn it into a video.
